Through continuous innovation and commitment, we are driving a better, more sustainable future for all.About you:We are looking for a team player who is self-driven and possesses the following skills and experience:Trade qualification as a Mechanical FitterStrong mechanical fitting experience, ideally in a heavy industrial environmentSolid diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperience in pneumatic and hydraulic systemsExperience in using workshop machinery including lathes and milling machinesStrong commitment to safety with and a focus on qualityGood communication and interpersonal skillsHigh risk work license for forklift,



basic rigging or dogging (highly desirable but not essential)Flexibility to work overtime if requiredUnlimited working rights in AustraliaYour role:This role, reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader forms part of our high performing Maintenance team.
You will play a key role in mechanical maintenance, service, repairs and assembly of conveyor systems, structure and components.
Your working hours will be between 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.Key responsibilities:General machining including the use of lathes and milling machinesGeneral fitting including fitment and alignment of gearboxes and motors, laser alignment etc.General weldingEffectively diagnose and fault-findUndertake mechanical refurbishment workPreventative, breakdown and scheduled mechanical plant maintenanceLead continuous improvement solutions to reduce downtimeContribute to 100% Safe Behaviour & ConditionsWhy Join Fenner?
