About the Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Biomedical Engineer or mechanically minded technician looking to build a long-term career in a specialised and essential area of healthcare.
Working closely with experienced technicians, you will support the testing, maintenance and servicing of medical systems and devices, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and contributing directly to patient safety.
Duties




Conduct routine testing of medical devices in line with AS**** and AS****Perform maintenance and servicing of medical systems & devicesAssist with fault finding and troubleshooting of system issuesCarry out outlet and pressure testingComplete digital service reports, documentation and recordsMaintain compliance with safety standards and company proceduresSupport inventory management of tools, equipment and spare partsLiaise professionally with healthcare staff on-siteParticipate in ongoing training and development
Skills and Experience
Qualification in Biomedical, Engineering or a Trade (Australian qualification is a must have)Experience working with medical devices or in a hospital settingBasic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow processesGood problem-solving and trouble-shootingskillsConfident using computers for reporting and documentationStrong communication skills and professional presentationAbility to work both autonomously and within a teamWillingness to obtain additional specialist certificationsFull Driving Licence and ability to travel.
