As a Child Care Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years.What you'll be doingDeveloping and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that support children's learning and developmentEnsuring a protected, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to thriveObserving and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor activities and support individual needsBuilding strong relationships with children and their families, and communicating regularly about their child's developmentAdhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and proceduresParticipating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledgeWhat we're looking forFormal qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g. Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services)We welcome candidates at any qualification level and provide opportunities for career developmentAdditionally we have positions for candidates looking to complete a certificate III traineeship with Chapter 1.Extensive experience working as a Child Care Educator in a long day care or preschool settingCandidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to applyStrong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality StandardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and familiesA genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best outcomes for childrenCurrent First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificationsFirst Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications are preferred but we offer flexibility for the right candidateWorking with Children CheckWhat we offerAt Chapter 1 Early Learning, we are committed to supporting our educators and providing a positive and rewarding work environment.
