Medical Specialist Receptionist/AdministrationCoastal Hearts and Vascular Pty Ltd – Southport QLDWe are seeking a part-time (approx. 32 hours p.w) Medical Specialist Receptionist/Administration professional to join our team at Coastal Hearts and Vascular in Southport, Queensland.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and service support to our medical staff, technicians and their patients, in a small but friendly cardiovascular specialist practice.Key responsibilities:Greeting and welcoming patients, and managing patient enquiries, bookings and appointments in person, by phone or by emailMaintaining patient records and medical files in a confidential and organised manner, whilst adhering to patient confidentiality and data protection.Assisting with the preparation of medical correspondence and reportsProviding general administrative support to the medical staff , including scheduling, invoicing, receipting, billing etc.Co-ordinating patient care appointments, procedures and theatre listsAssisting with preparation of medical correspondence and reportsEnsuring a high level of customer service is provided to all patients and visitorsLiaising with external stakeholders,



such as other healthcare providersWhat we're looking forMinimum of 2+ years experience in a medical receptionist or administration role is required- preferably in a medical specialist environmentDemonstrated knowledge of and experience with GENTU medical softwareProfessional, empathetic and patient focusedTeam player with a positive attitudeAbility to multi-task and manage competing prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAustralian citizenship is required for this positionWhat we offerAt Coastal Hearts and Vascular , we are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work workplace for our employees.
