This role is responsible for driving quality housing outcomes, ensuring compliance with community housing standards,
and strengthening service outcomes for tenants for the Southern Region of Tasmania.Lead the delivery of high‐quality tenancy and property management services across Tasmania regionPermanent Full‐time position - (38hrs/week)Competitive salary under the SCHADS Award, plus additional benefits including salary packagingKey ResponsibilitiesLead, coach and support a team of Housing Workers, providing regular supervision and performance feedbackEnsure delivery of tenancy and property management services meets KPIs, funding requirements, and regulatory standardsOversee lease renewals, property inspections, and tenancy management practicesMonitor budgets, approve invoices, and ensure accurate and timely reportingMaintain data integrity across housing systems and ensure tenant records are up to dateIdentify service improvements and contribute to program development and implementationManage risk and ensure high‐risk situations are addressed in line with policyCoordinate asset management planning with internal stakeholdersAbout YouYou are a purpose-driven people leader who combines strong operational capability with compassion and accountability.
You're confident navigating housing compliance, stakeholder environments, and team leadership, while maintaining a focus on tenant outcomes.Key CapabilitiesTertiary qualification in Property, Business Administration or Community Services are desirablePrior experience in a similar role managing staff who oversee a diverse property portfolioSound knowledge of housing development within the social housing and community welfare sectorSkilled in stakeholder engagement, service improvement,
and operational managementStrong knowledge of community housing policies, tenancy legislation, and compliance frameworksWHY WORK FOR US?
