As part of Western Sydney Local Health District, you'll join a team that values professional growth, teamwork and delivering exceptional patient-centred care.Work alongside experienced critical care nurses, medical specialists and allied health professionals.Deliver care using evidence-based practice in a modern, fast-paced ICU.Access ongoing education, clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.Be supported within an inclusive team culture that values collaboration, respect and continuous improvement.Make a genuine difference to patients and their families during their most critical moments.What you'll be doingAs a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care to critically ill patients while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible health outcomes.Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care tailored to each patient's individual needs.Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, making timely clinical decisions in a complex environment.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care,



discharge planning and appropriate referrals.Supervise, mentor and support Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students in clinical practice.Advocate for patients and their families while ensuring care is delivered with professionalism, cultural respect and effective resource management.Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Selection CriteriaDemonstrated recent clinical experience in critical care nursing in an acute care facilityDemonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient careDemonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing careDemonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.Requisition ID: REQ******Applications Close:11 August ****Need more information ?
