You will play a key role in developing business growth strategies, improving operational performance, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.Oversee all daily hotel operations including bar, gaming, TAB/KENO, bottle shop, and customer service areasEnsure the venue is consistently clean, organised, well-presented, and maintained to a high standardRecruit, mentor, and develop staff to create a positive and professional workplace cultureMaintain compliance with all Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG), gaming, WHS,



and licensing requirementsMonitor and maintain venue compliance systems, procedures, and reporting requirementsDrive business growth through promotional initiatives, local engagement, events, and innovative ideasAnalyse venue performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitabilityMaintain a strong understanding of financial performance including wages, cost of goods, GP percentages, budgeting, reconciliations, and expense managementAssist with stock control, ordering, supplier management, and reducing unnecessary operational costsComplete daily and weekly financial reconciliations, banking, and reporting requirementsWork closely with senior management to achieve business targets and operational goalsDeliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain strong relationships with local patrons and community groupsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:Previous experience in a Venue Manager, Duty Manager, or senior hospitality management role.Strong understanding of gaming operations, liquor licensing, and hospitality compliance requirementsCurrent RSA and ARCG qualificationsExcellent leadership and staff management skillsStrong financial acumen and understanding of hospitality business operationsAbility to identify opportunities to increase trade and improve profitabilityHigh attention to detail and pride in venue presentationStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesA hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the frontWhat We OfferA competitive salary package is on offer, with remuneration negotiable based on previous experience, proven success, and overall suitability for the role.
