Our client is a well-established and growing business within the freight and logistics sector, seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team in Maroochydore.This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who is available to commence immediately and is looking for either a temporary assignment or a genuine pathway to permanency.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll while providing exceptional support to employees and stakeholders across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end weekly and/or fortnightly payroll processing.Maintenance of employee records, including new starters, terminations and employee changes.Processing leave, superannuation and payroll adjustments.Calculation of overtime, allowances and other payroll-related payments.Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation,



awards and company policies.Responding to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.Assisting with month-end payroll activities and payroll-related administration.About YouDemonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing.Previous experience using Micropay is highly desirable (but not essential)Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to work autonomously and manage competing deadlines.Available to commence immediately or at short notice.What's on OfferImmediate startTemporary or genuine temp-to-perm chance, for the right personMaroochydore location with onsite parking.Friendly and supportive team environment.Stable and growing organisation.
