As a key member of the Fundraising team, the Supporter Care Coordinator is often the first voice or face a Wayside Chapel supporter connects with.
This role delivers warm, responsive, best-practice care across every touchpoint, playing an essential part in how supporters experience our mission day to day.ABOUT THE ROLEBuild genuine relationships with supporters and fundraisers, ensuring every interaction reflects the values of the Wayside community and brandManage inbound enquiries for cash supporters and regular giversThank and welcome supporters across all areas of fundraising, including coordinating volunteers to help make these calls, particularly during the Christmas periodDeliver exceptional supporter experiences across phone, email, and in-person interactionsCoordinate regular giver onboarding, support retention campaigns, and mass impact reportingABOUT YOUYou've spent a couple of years building excellent relationships with customers or supporters, whether in a donor care, sales, or customer service settingYou thrive on variety, as one moment you're on the phone welcoming a new supporter, the next you're supporting a community fundraising event, and after that you're troubleshooting a payment decline or a supporter concern.Superior customer service skills, high degree of empathy and ability to represent Wayside Chapel in a professional manner at all timesA champion for needs of all supportersExperience using a CRM system (e.g. Salesforce)
