This is a full time position that plays a vital role in our manufacturing operations, contributing directly to the production of our window furnishings range.
In this role, you will be part of an assembly and process focused team, working in a fast paced manufacturing environment where precision, attention to detail and teamwork are essential.What you'll be doingOperating manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with safety procedures and quality standardsAssembling made to measure products following specified designs and technical specificationsInspecting finished products for quality defects and ensuring all items meet our high standards before dispatchPreparing materials and components for the production processPacking and labelling completed products for shipment to customersMaintaining a clean and organised work area in compliance with health and safety requirementsReporting equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptlyFollowing all documented procedures and contributing to continuous improvement initiativesWorking collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targetsCollecting materials from suppliersDelivering finished orders to customersWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in manufacturing, assembly work or process based roles is highly desirableCurrent driver's licence (desirable but not essential)Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and report quality issuesAbility to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisorsBasic mathematical skills for measuring and calculations as requiredPhysical capability to perform assembly and manual handling tasks, standing for extended periodsWillingness to learn current processes and operate manufacturing equipment with proper trainingReliability and commitment to meeting production deadlines and targetsAbility to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety protocolsA proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvementWhat we offerWe are committed to creating a rewarding workplace where our team members feel valued and supported.
