CJD Equipment is seeking a qualified Workshop Technician - Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Hobart team.

Working with leading brands including Kenworth, DAF and Volvo Construction Equipment, you'll be part of a professional workshop that values quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork.

About the Role:
Diagnose, service and repair heavy vehicles and construction equipment.
Complete maintenance, repairs and component rebuilds.
Use computer-based diagnostic systems and workshop technology.
Deliver high-quality workmanship in line with manufacturer and customer standards.
Maintain a robust focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:
An Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification.
Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and/or earthmoving equipment.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, including electrical systems.
Competency using diagnostic software and computer-based systems.




A commitment to safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
A positive attitude and solid communication skills.
