Monaro Mix specified Concrete is a growing family-owned independent concrete company supplying the building and construction industry in and around the Canberra and Queanbeyan area.
We currently have an chance for a suitable person to fill the role of Agitator Truck Driver to join our team. The focus of the position is the loading and delivering of pre-mixed concrete to customer sites and maintaining the protected operation of agitator trucks.
Duties and responsibilities:
Delivering concrete to client sites along with managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete.
Complete basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete.
Ensure safety standards are maintained including daily pre-start checks on the vehicle
General yard maintenance when required.
About you:
A current HR drivers license with suitable driving record.
Be a team player who is self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
Provide superior customer service.
Be passionate about safety & environment with a robust work ethic.
Have effective communication skills.
Be able to perform all duties associated with the position including manual handling.
Driver's license and own transport is essential.
Ability to work reasonable overtime including Saturdays when required.
Construction White Card.
Relevant concrete industry experience will be highly regarded however full training will be provided.
