CrewSELECT are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Trades Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands‐on workshop experience looking for reliable, ongoing work with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.
About the Role
Working within a well-established workshop, you will be assisting qualified tradesmen with a variety of day-to-day workshop duties including grinding, cutting, drilling, material handling, and operating hand and power tools.
This role will suit someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining a safe workspace, and can work efficiently within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Grinding, cutting, and drilling materialsSafe operation of hand and power toolsAssisting tradesmen with workshop duties and fabrication supportGeneral workshop housekeeping and maintaining clean work areasMoving materials and supporting daily workshop operationsFollowing all workplace safety procedures and standards
Skills & Experience




2-3 years' experience within a workshop or manufacturing environmentExperience using grinders, drills, cutting equipment, and hand toolsStrong understanding of workshop safety proceduresForklift ticket is requiredOverhead crane experience/ticket highly regarded
