Your part in our Buderim Hospital teamOur Cardiac Services team provide diagnostic and interventional cardiac services and offer patients from the greater Sunshine Coast region the highest possible level of care.We have two dedicated Cardiovascular Theatres, a Critical Care service which includes Intensive Care, all supported by highly qualified specialist cardiologists and electrophysiologists, an intensivist service, a 24-hour Resident Medical Officer service andspecially-trainednursing staff.As part of our Cardiac Catheter Theatres, you will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment foroptimalpatient outcomes.You'lldeliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.This position will includescrub and scout responsibilities, as well as monitoring including cardiac haemodynamic monitoring, documentation and supporting the procedural team.




On call participation will also berequired.What makes a difference for us?
Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration, with a minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience in Scrub ScoutExperience in cardiachaemodynamicmonitoringExperience within Cardiac Vascular TheatresFull Australian Working Rights (please note, we are unable to provide sponsorshipat this time)Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, withdemonstratedknowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices.A commitment to patient safety and quality improvements and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentWillingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessmentWhat makes a difference for you?
