The Role
As Front Office Manager, you will lead the Front Desk and Guest Services team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional guest experiences.
You'll drive service standards, team engagement, and operational excellence while maintaining compliance with Kimpton, IHG, and regulatory requirements.
This is a hands‐on leadership role,



ideal for someone who thrives in a boutique luxury environment and loves creating memorable guest moments.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Front Office and Guest Services operations, including Front Desk, Porters and Doorpersons
Deliver personalised, high-quality guest experiences from arrival to departure
Lead daily briefings, manage handovers, and oversee arrivals and departures
Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care
Collaborate closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness
Conduct room and public area inspections and report maintenance issues
Promote Kimpton brand standards and service behaviours
Prepare rosters in line with business and operational needs
Support onboarding, training and development of front office colleagues
Assist with night audit oversight and overnight operations
Drive IHG Rewards recognition and enrolment targets
About You
Proven leadership experience in Front Office or Hotel Operations
Passionate about guest experience and boutique hospitality
Strong communicator with a calm, solutions-focused approach
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident leading teams in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
