Your Role
As a Support Worker at Edel Quinn, you will play a key role in empowering individuals experiencing homelessness on their path to stable housing.
You will assist with client intake, assessments, and daily operations,
ensuring each client receives the tailored care and support they need to thrive.

Your Responsibility
Supporting clients with day‐to‐day needs in line with their case plansAssisting with intakes, assessments, and smooth exits from the serviceHelping manage accommodation services including meal prep and room checksWorking alongside case workers to support group activities and referralsAdvocating for clients and helping them access essential servicesKeeping accurate, professional records and maintaining a safe, clean spaceEnsuring WHS standards are upheld at all times
You Will Need
Available to work a rotating roster covering days, overnights and weekends, although not every week some flexibility required.A Certificate qualification in a relevant field or current tertiary studiesExcellent communication and people skillsConfidence to work both independently and within a teamGood judgement and calm approach in challenging situationsA current first aid certificateA respectful, ethical and non-judgemental approachAn understanding of WHS and risk management principles
