Gladstone Community Linking Agency (GCLA) is seeking a Casual Rostering Officer to join our Rostering Team and help coordinate quality support services across our NDIS and Aged Care programs.About GCLAAt GCLA, we're more than just a not-for-profit organisation—we're committed to empowering people and creating inclusive communities.Since ****, we've been supporting people to live well at home and in the community through quality disability and aged care services.
Guided by our purpose of Beyond Ordinary, we strive to deliver person-centred services that make a real difference.About the RoleReporting to the Lead Rostering Officer, the Rostering Officer is responsible for coordinating daily rosters across GCLA's NDIS and Aged Care services.Working closely with customers, support workers and internal teams, you'll ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with participant needs, workforce availability and organisational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily rosters across NDIS and Aged Care services.Match support workers to customer needs, skills and availability.Respond to roster changes, leave requests and service cancellations.Communicate roster updates with customers, employees and internal stakeholders.Maintain accurate rostering records and workforce information.Monitor compliance with awards,



funding requirements and organisational policies.Work collaboratively with Service Delivery, People & Culture and Payroll teams.Contribute to continuous improvement within the Rostering Team.About YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment.Experience in rostering, scheduling or workforce coordination.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.High level of attention to detail.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Intermediate computer skills and experience using rostering or workforce management systems.Current Australian Driver Licence.NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) (or ability to obtain).
Working With Children Check (Blue Card)Experience working in the disability, aged care or community services sector.Knowledge of the SCHADS Award and/or Aged Care employment conditions.Experience using Visual Care or similar rostering software.Why Join GCLA?
