We're seeking dynamic individuals to advance our mission of building peace through creative collaborations and data-driven strategies.Location: This is an office-based position at IEP's headquarters in Sydney, Australia.

Any travel requirements will be negotiated with the employee.What We DoImplement the Positive Peace framework across diverse global contextsForge and nurture strategic partnerships with governments, NGOs, and international organisationsDesign and execute high-impact training and projects focused on peacebuilding, resilience, social cohesion, and sustainable developmentRecent ProgramsIntegrating peace metrics into agricultural initiatives in South Sudan in collaboration with leading humanitarian organisationsLaunched youth-focused social cohesion programmes in New South Wales, AustraliaConducted Positive Peace training for local government officials in the PhilippinesExpanded our global IEP Ambassador network to over 5,000 members across 150+ countries through our cutting-edge online education platformProgramme ManagerAs a Programme Manager within the Partnerships Team at the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), you will play a pivotal role in driving global Positive Peace programs.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to support the growth of data-driven, locally led approaches to peace and resilience.
You will be responsible for managing programmes, maintaining partnerships, and writing grants,



while also having the opportunity to facilitate trainings directly with communities both locally and around the world.
Your work will involve collaborating with a range of actors, from grassroots community organizations to government and multilateral institutions, to ensure the successful implementation and uptake of IEP's programs.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe person in this role works in collaboration with the Partnerships team and reports to the Director of Partnerships.
You will be responsible for:Partnership development and coordinationIdentifying and preparing proposals and grant applications for partners and donorsManaging domestic and international projectsCommunications in support of the Partnerships portfolio, including reports, newsletters, presentations, websites, social media, and other content needsCoordination and facilitation of trainings with diverse stakeholdersMonitoring, evaluation, and learning in relation to projectsSupport of the Partnerships Intern programOther management and administrative duties in relation to partnershipsSkills and Qualifications2-3 years of experience in a relevant fieldExperience in grant writing and/or proposal preparationProven project management abilitiesWell-developed written communication skillsAbility to manage and develop relationships with partner organisationsOrganized and able to manage a range of systems and processesTraining or experience in education or facilitation is desirableDesired personal qualitiesInterest in global affairs and positive social changeA self-starter and team player, adaptable to changeExcellent attention to detail and solution orientedAbility and interest to work with diverse groups, regardless of backgroundPositive attitude and willingness to work on a small, tight-knit team
