We are looking for an experienced, all-round Carpenter to join our growing Nexx team in the Blue Mountains region.This is a hands-on, full-time role working across a broad range of fit-out, refurbishment and maintenance jobs for our government and commercial clients.If you take pride in a proper day's work and want a genuine, long-term role with a company on the move, you'll fit right in!

At NEXX, we value our people and offer long-term opportunities to those who want to grow with us.Key ResponsibilitiesReading plans and specs to work out materials, measurements and how it all goes togetherOrdering and selecting materials, and setting out layouts before the tools come outCutting, shaping and fixing timber, plywood, lightweight steel and wallboardFraming walls, roofs and floors - and making sure it's all true, level and squareFitting fascias, sheathing roofs,



and fitting cladding and door and window framesBuilding up components in the workshop, ready for installation on siteCutting timber joints to trade standardBuilding formwork where the job calls for itRepairing and maintaining existing fixtures and fittings as part of our maintenance contractsThe occasional bit of laminate, Perspex and light metal work on fit-out jobsSkill & ExperienceCertificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade quals (or 3+ years' solid hands-on experience)Current NSW carpentry licenceSkilled across framing, fit-out, formwork and finishing carpentryComfortable reading plans and specsA self-starter with a reliable, can-do attitudeCurrent driver's licence, happy to travel across the Blue Mountains/regional areaNeat, presentable, and a transparent communicatorComfortable dealing with both clients and office staffWilling to complete a National Police Check (we'll arrange this)
