As our NSW practice continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join our Sydney office.

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workers' Compensation Solicitor who enjoys running their own matters while working within a collaborative and supportive team.
You will manage a varied caseload from commencement through to resolution, providing strategic legal advice, preparing matters for hearing, representing clients throughout the litigation process and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of NSW Workers' Compensation matters from inception through to resolution.
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout their claim.
Prepare matters for Conciliation Conferences, Judicial Conferences and Hearings.
Represent clients before the Workplace Injury Commission where appropriate.
Instruct Counsel in the Magistrates' Court and Supreme Court of NSW.
Prepare legal correspondence, submissions, briefs and court documentation.
Liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, barristers, Commission members and other stakeholders.
Mentor and support paralegal staff while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Maintain accurate legal files and ensure compliance with legislative and professional obligations.
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Admission as an Australian Legal Practitioner with a current and unrestricted NSW Practising Certificate.
Minimum 3+ years' Post Admission Experience (PAE).
IRO approval or competence in NSW Workers' Compensation law for at least 12 months.
Experience appearing before the Personal Injury Commission.
Excellent advocacy, negotiation and communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to manage files and litigation autonomously under the supervision of an experienced Solicitor of 20+ years.
