From short-term equipment hire through to large-scale project support, we partner with customers to provide reliable, responsive and industry-leading solutions that keep worksites operating safely and efficiently.As our Hire business continues to expand nationally, we're looking for an experienced operational leader to drive performance across New South Wales and help shape the next phase of our growth.The RoleWe're seeking an experienced and hands-on NSW Hire Operations Manager to lead our operations across New South Wales.Reporting to the Head of Hire, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our operational teams, ensuring exceptional service delivery, productive fleet and asset management, operational excellence and a strong safety culture across the state.Working closely with both customers and internal stakeholders, you'll oversee the successful delivery of hire operations while driving continuous improvement, developing your team and ensuring commercial and operational objectives are achieved.What You'll Be DoingLead, coach and develop the NSW Hire operations team, including drivers, yard staff and administration.Oversee the day-to-day operational performance of the business, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.Manage the hire fleet, assets and equipment, ensuring servicing, maintenance and repairs are completed with minimal downtime.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key internal stakeholders.Oversee inventory management, stocktakes and operational reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability.Ensure operational documentation,



contracts, invoicing and purchase orders are completed accurately and efficiently.Coordinate project mobilisations, equipment installations and operational planning across New South Wales.Drive compliance across WHS, company procedures and supplier requirements while fostering a proactive safety culture.Work collaboratively with the sales team to support customer solutions, quotations, tenders and project delivery.Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase operational efficiency and enhance service delivery.About YouYou'll be a proactive and people-focused operations leader who enjoys solving problems, building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.You'll bring:Previous leadership experience within hire, logistics, construction, industrial services or a similar operational environment.Demonstrated experience managing operational teams and driving performance.Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes and operational efficiency.Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.Experience working within Workplace Health & Safety requirements.High-level computer literacy and reporting capability.Forklift Licence (essential).
HR Truck Licence and mechanical or auto-electrical experience (desirable).
