To support our operations, we are seeking an Owner Driver based in Sydney.This is a fast-paced, varied role where no two days are the same.
A typical day will include:Collecting and delivering medical inventory on time and in fullBuilding and maintaining relationships with customers (new and existing)Working closely with other Smartways team membersProactively managing the return of loaned medical equipmentPreparing freight for transport via third-party carriers within the wider Smartways networkWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOROur ideal candidate is driven to deliver an excellent customer experience and understands the importance of their role in patient care.You will bring:Solid knowledge of the Sydney region and ability to determine optimal routesA reliable work ethic and team-first mindsetConfidence using technology,



including phones and basic computer systemsExcellent customer service skills with great attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skillsAvailability between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday (with ad-hoc weekend work available)WHAT TOOLS ARE REQUIRED?
To be successful in this role, you will need:2T Van or 4.5T Pantech 6 Pallet capacity (or willingness to acquire one)A registered Pty Ltd company (or willingness to establish one prior to commencement)All required insurances (Vehicle, Public Liability, Marine Cargo, etc.)A valid and clean driver's licenceFull legal working rights in AustraliaWillingness to complete a police check and driver history checkThe ability to operate the contracted vehicle yourself (no subcontracting or third-party supply)WHY JOIN US?
