We are seeking a dedicated and reliable female support worker to join our team and support our amazing female client located in Coopers Plains.About the roleWe are searching for a female support worker who can read the room, has excellent attention to detail, is honest, able to take initiative and work autonomously.Our client is a warm, vibrant person who values independence and choice in her supports.
She enjoys arts and crafts, spending time with family, animals, and expressing her creativity.What you'll do:Personal care, including bowel therapy (experience preferred but training will be provided)Manual handling in all aspectsDomestic assistance and daily support tasksApplicants must be comfortable and willing to support personal cares and bowel therapy, with experience preferred,



however training will be provided for the right person.To be successful you must:Have experience in providing bowel therapy or a willingness to learnExperienced in manual handlingResonate with the role description aboveHave a genuine desire to positively change people's livesHave evidence of eligibility and right to work in AustraliaHold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow cardHold or be willing to obtain a blue cardHold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:To deliver high quality support to our clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it deliveredCommunicate effectively and collaborate for our clients needs with our clients, team & Support SpecialistUnderstand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our clients needsProvide support to our clients as requiredTo support our clients to achieve their NDIS GoalsHave good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging mannerHave an interest in building a respectful relationship with our clientsBe reliable, flexible and responsive to fill shifts when requiredReally simple, we are on a mission to completely disrupt the disability and aged care industry by providing supports in a way that most providers would say is impossible - and that is to give true choice, control and freedom to our Clients in every way possible.Working with our Clients, you have the privilege to do what most do not get to do in their career,
