Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionSupagas is a leading supplier of LPG, industrial, medical, specialty and helium gases in Australia.
They are a rapid-growing nation-wide company and are rapidly building a reputation for growth and success based on an exceptional 'YES WE CAN' customer service offering and quality product in the highly competitive market.
They are seeking experienced Production Engineer to join their team at Ingleburn NSW.Primary Duties: As a Production Engineer you will provide engineering and technical support and carry out the projects from design through to the commissioning and handover.
You will however have a varied role working with Supagas' technical and operation teams as well as site contractors on other projectsRole and ResponsibilitiesEmbody the 'Yes We Can' ethos in all aspects of the role and responsibilitiesAdapt, promote, and encourage a Safety-First approachManage engineering projects across the entire project life cycle, including scoping, planning and design documents, risk assessments, contract management, and close-outDevelopment of technical project documentation, such as site layouts, P&IDs;, equipment general arrangement plans (GA's) functional descriptions, equipment lists,



datasheets and other application design documents to ensure suitability and complianceParticipate in various building and gas system designsSpecification review to develop project scope and customer requirementsManage and co-coordinate contractors across multiple work fronts and disciplinesProcurement of materials and services and ongoing interaction with suppliersCommunication with customers as directed by the project managerPre-planning & resource forecastingDevelop and maintain construction/ installation scheduleCost tracking; managing budgets and forecastsLiaise with the internal stakeholders, community, council and service authoritiesComplete site inspections as requiredGenerate SWMS' when requiredOther duties as requested from time to timeQualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor Degree in EngineeringMinimum RequirementsMinimum 5 years in a technical hands‐on installations role (if only trade qualified)Preferred SkillsSound knowledge of construction, LPG and Industrial gas properties, pipeline and vessel installations, regulatory matters and standardsSound working knowledge of construction, GA drawings, P&ID;'sSound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software packagesExcellent organisational, communication and negotiation skillsAdditional InformationGeneral understanding of construction, gases, bulk installations, gas production and cylinder fillingSalary: $****** per annum
