We are a 77-place, nature-focused early learning centre based in Nerang, with a robust connection to Bush Kindy, health, wellbeing and community.About the RoleWe are looking for someone who would love to:Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children each dayCater for allergies and dietary requirementsCreate and maintain healthy, balanced menus for childrenKeep up to date with the Food Safety Program and ensure all food safety requirements are being followedEnsure all health, hygiene and nutritional standards are metCollaborate with educators to support children's learning around healthy eating and nutritionRun fun cooking experiences and cooking classes within the classroomsBe involved in our nature-based philosophy — including cooking experiences around our campfireWhat We're Looking ForA passion for cooking and nutritionExperience working in kitchens or childcare settings (preferred but not essential)Understanding of food safety and allergy managementSomeone warm, creative and excited to engage with children and educators
