We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our Service Department in Western Australia. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this role is responsible for the end-to-end management of workshop and field service operations, parts processing, and customer service.

As the primary point of contact for the site, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, robust customer relationships, and effective coordination between technicians, customers, and internal teams. You will lead, coach, and develop service staff while promoting a strong safety culture, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary site contact for customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders
Lead and manage workshop technicians, field service technicians, and trades assistants
Coach and develop Leading Hands and Field Service Team Leaders
Oversee workshop scheduling, field service coordination, and job allocation
Monitor job progress, utilisation, recovery rates, and timesheet accuracy
Ensure timely completion of PDIs, service documentation, and invoicing
Manage service quotes, work orders, stock levels, and parts processing
Build strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality service outcomes




Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and promote a strong safety culture
Provide ongoing training, performance management, and leadership to the service team

About You
Proven leadership experience managing a service or workshop team
Robust communication, organisational, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment
Sound understanding of workshop operations and customer service delivery
Comfortable using ERP systems (Baseplan experience highly regarded)

Desirable
Previous experience as a Service Manager or Supervisor in access equipment or similar machinery industries
Forklift licence (MEWP preferred)
Working knowledge of workshop safety and compliance requirements
Self-motivated, hands-on leader with a collaborative approach
