Surgery is not an occasional part of our practice — it's the core of it. Our team performs wisdom tooth extractions, implant placements, bone and gum grafting, and full-arch AOX procedures regularly. We're looking for a dental assistant who wants to build real expertise in this area, not simply assist in it from time to time.
Prior surgical experience isn't required. We're more interested in finding someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely motivated to develop this skill set over time. Clinical training will be provided — what we can't teach is the drive to take the work seriously and grow into it.
What we're looking for:
Robust attention to detail, particularly with sterile technique and surgical setup
Composure and focus in a fast-paced clinical environment
A genuine interest in learning advanced procedures, not just performing routine tasks
Reliability and a strong sense of accountability to the team
A long-term interest in surgical dental assisting as a career path, rather than a short-term role
At least 4 days of availability between Monday - Friday
What we offer:
Hands-on training in advanced surgical procedures
Regular exposure to complex cases, including full-arch and implant surgery
Mentorship from an experienced surgical team
A clearly defined path toward a senior surgical assistant position
If you're currently working in general dental assisting and are ready to move into surgical work, we'd welcome the chance to speak with you.
