Boilermaker (Maintenance Technician) – HMR Engineering

Located in High Wycombe and Mundaring, WA

Remuneration :
Permanent workshop – $37 - $45 per hour
Permanent site rates – $45 - $55 per hour
Night shift – 15% loading
Site Allowance of additional $5 per hour for all site based work

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing mills, crushers, gearboxes and heavy machinery both in Australia and overseas, as required. This role is both a mixture of workshop and site-based and requires working under limited supervision while ensuring all maintenance and repair work meets the highest standards.

HMR averages 2 shutdowns per month of 3 - 10 days in duration. Our client are based in WA, interstate and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, inspect,



and troubleshoot mechanical issues on fixed and mobile plant equipment.
Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment installation.
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, technical reports, and maintenance records.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
Support the procurement and supply of goods and services.
Comply with safety regulations and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For
Trade Certificate in Engineering - Fabrication Trade Boilermaking/Welding (Australian-recognised – highly desirable)
Experience in fixed-plant repair, maintenance and heavy machinery (required)
Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry Certificates (required)
C Class WA Manual Driver’s Licence (required)
