About the Role: We’re seeking experienced and qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
Conducting preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
Working on a variety of underground mining equipment, including:
Sandvik trucks, drills, and loaders
CAT graders
Volvo integrated tool carriers
Scoping jobs and accurately estimating time, materials, and resource requirements
Collaborating closely with shift supervisors, mechanics, and other underground personnel

What We’re Looking For:
A Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification recognised in Australia (essential)




At least 2 years’ post-trade experience in underground mining or related industries (e.g. agriculture, civil, construction)
A manual driver’s licence (essential) and relevant RPLs to operate underground vehicles
Solid knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures, and safe handling of explosives
Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and maintenance skills
Capability to work in confined spaces and handle physically demanding conditions
Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical to include a drug and alcohol screening
National Police Clearance within the last 6 months required for this role
