La Petite Société is a European-style wine and cocktail bar located in the heart of Brighton, directly beside Middle Brighton Train Station. We specialise in local and international wines, curated beers and classic cocktails, complemented by a refined menu of European-inspired small plates and shared dishes.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Waiter/Server to join our team (20 hours per week, Thursday–Sunday afternoon/evenings).

About this role:

You will work as part of our young, dedicated team to deliver outstanding quality small plates and shared food, wine and cocktails for our wine bar customers.
Greeting and seating guests
Making menu and wine suggestions
Taking and deriving orders
Taking payment and seeing guests off
Assisting with bar service and dishes where required
Set-up and pack-up of the bar

Prerequisites:
Passion and experience with European Food and Wine
Knowledge of Australian and International Wines a plus
Capacity to multi-task and work independently front of house
Outstanding interpersonal skills and willingness to work as part of a close, friendly, customer focused team
Excellent English with the capacity to have complex conversations
Evening and Weekend availability with an appropriate visa

This role offers consistent, reliable weekly shifts. As the successful candidate you will need to commit to undertaking your shifts with the same level of commitment and reliability.

Pay: $33.84 – $67.69 per hour
