Main Function of Position

As part of our boat-building team, this role is responsible for fibreglass repairs, builds and rebuilds. Working closely with all areas of the business you will construct, fit-out, commission and repair all types of vessels; including, recreational, competitive, and commercial. The selected candidate will work on a range of exciting and cutting-edge projects both on and off-site.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities




Complete a range of GRP repairs, builds and repairs
Structural laminating.
Chop strand gun operation
Composite fabrication. Including infusion, injection moulding, moulding/ tooling and prepreg composite processes.
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other contractors.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential
Minimum four (4) years’ experience with an applicable industry
Shipwright or fibreglass laminator qualification
Extensive knowledge of GRP builds and repairs
Structural laminating experience
Valid WA Drivers Licence

Desired
Chopper gun and gel coat experience
Forklift ticket
