Bus Driver Opportunities – Cairns Depot
We are currently seeking reliable and motivated drivers to join our Cairns Depot team, operating long-distance, regional, and school services across Far North Queensland.
Positions Available
Cairns to Karumba Service– Long-distance route– Overnight stays in Karumba required– 12-hour shifts
Cairns to Cooktown Service– Scenic coastal and regional driving– Flexible opportunities available
Atherton to Cairns Service– Regular regional route– Daily return services– Prospect for consistent rostered hours
Cairns Special Education School Service – Drivers and Carers– School transport operations
-- Working with students requiring additional support– Split shifts and school-term work available– Patient, caring,



and safety-focused drivers encouraged
About the Role
You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and freight while delivering a high standard of customer service across our regional and school transport network.
Requirements
Current QLD Driver's Authority, or willingness to obtain
Appropriate licence (MR/HR preferred)
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage long-distance routes
Commitment to safety and reliability
Ability to work respectfully with school students and passengers from diverse backgrounds
