We are fully food standard compliant with current Certification for HACCP, SQF, WQA accreditation and licenced by the NSW Food Authority.Duties and responsibilitiesRequisitioning supplies from stock and sending orders to production departments and other firmsConfirming completion of orders and compliance with details specified, signing tally sheets and attaching to checked itemsReceiving and checking purchase requests against inventory records and stock on handExamining orders and compiling data for production schedulesChecking inventories and preparing delivery schedulesExamining containers to ensure that they are filled and recording quantitiesEstablishing and coordinating the operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing and shipping goodsObtaining supplies of products and assembling bags, package cartonsPacking containers and bags with products, and counting,



weighing and measuring amounts and adjusting quantitiesWrapping protective material around products, sealing bags and containers, and attaching pre-printed labelsRecording information such as numbers, weight, times and datesMonitoring the filling of containers and adjusting machines to maintain volume and seal qualityChecking the cleanliness and operation of machines, equipment and containersCleaning equipment, pumps, hoses, storage tanks, vessels and floors, and maintaining infestation control programsMoving products from production lines into storage and shipping areasPackaging productsDecanting raw materials readying for productionPreparation of products for slicing and cuttingsSlicing and cutting of food productsOperating slicing and cutting machines to prepare the product for packaging as per requirement.Dismantling machinery for cleaning and servicing regularly.Complete pre-operation and post-operation checklists and ensure all standards are met.EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREDMinimum Certificate IV or equivalentMinimum two years of experience in a similar role desiredGood communication skillsThe ability to work a adaptable roster, including weekends and public holidaysKnowledge of OH&SAbility; to work unsupervised, as a part of team and under pressure
