Vested Energy Pty Ltd ATF Vested Energy Unit Trust is seeking a dedicated Solar Trade Labourer to join our team on the Gold Coast.
This is a contract position based in Arundel, QLD ****, where you will play a vital role in supporting our solar installation projects.
It is essential you have experience in the industry.
You will have the experience that is required to help ensure the successful completion of residential and commercial solar energy installations, contributing directly to our mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions to the Gold Coast community.
This hands‐on role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced tradespeople whilst developing valuable skills in the renewable energy sector.
What you'll be doing
Assisting qualified electricians and solar installers with the installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties
Preparing work sites by clearing areas, setting up equipment, and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available
Supporting the safe handling, transportation, and positioning of solar panels, mounting structures, and electrical components
Assisting with the installation of roof mounting systems, ensuring structural integrity and safety compliance
Helping with cable routing, conduit installation, and preparation of electrical connections under the guidance of senior tradespeople
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work sites, removing waste materials, and disposing of debris responsibly
Operating basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively as directed




Following all health and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to site-specific safety requirements
Assisting with quality checks and inspections to ensure installations meet industry standards and customer expectations
Communicating effectively with team members and reporting any issues or concerns to site supervisors
What we're looking for
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks, including working at heights and in various weather conditions
A genuine interest in the renewable energy sector and solar technology
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely under supervision
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks
Basic literacy and numeracy skills to understand technical information and measurements
Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the solar installation industry
Current or willingness to obtain a White Card (Construction Induction Card) or equivalent health and safety qualification
A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport to job sites across the Gold Coast
Previous experience in construction, electrical work,



or related trades is desirable but not essential for motivated candidates
