About the Role
We are seeking for a passionate and motivated Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by enhancing the quality of life of our residents.
In this role, you will go beyond coordinating activities—you will build genuine connections with residents and their families, foster a strong sense of community, and create engaging wellbeing programs that promote purpose, joy, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, coordinate and deliver resident-focused lifestyle and wellbeing programs
Plan and implement engaging activities that support social, emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual wellbeing
Conduct resident assessments to understand individual preferences, interests, and needs
Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents and families
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure person-centred care
Monitor and evaluate programs, making improvements where needed
Organise special events and community engagement activities (including involvement of volunteers and families)
Maintain accurate documentation of activities and resident interactionsSupport accreditation processes and compliance with aged care standards
Provide guidance and support to lifestyle team members (with leadership opportunities)
Ensure all work is performed safely and in line with policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people
Relevant experience in aged care, community care, or healthcare settings
Certificate IV in Leisure & Health, Diversional Therapy, or Aged Care (desirable)
Experience delivering lifestyle or wellbeing programs
Strong understanding of person-centred care principles
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
Experience supporting residents living with dementia and cognitive disability
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Confidence using IT systems and documentation platforms
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
A compassionate, adaptable, and proactive approach
Requirements
Current driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
Willingness to transport residents to appointments and outings
Proof of Australian working rights
Up-to-date vaccinations (including COVID-19, as per current guidelines)
