About This Role
Looking for a hands-on role where your skills keep things moving?
At Whitehaven Coal, we're after experienced Maintenance Fitters to join our Gunnedah Basin Haulage team.
You'll be working on our fleet of 26 Scania A-doubles, helping keep our operations secure, reliable and on schedule.
Whether you're already local or considering a move to the Gunnedah region, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Perform all required repairs and maintenance on our Scania A-doublesWork autonomously to meet production targets and deadlines




Showcase a commitment to safety with visible safe work practices and adherence to JSA protocols
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to complete work orders effectively
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Essential)
Proven experience as a heavy diesel mechanic, with expertise in maintaining heavy vehicles and trailers
Experience with Scania trucks (a bonus, but not essential!)
A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork.
A Current Drivers License
