In this role you will be working with David Slatyer and his team across a range of insurance advisory and litigation matters, including public liability, CTP, and general insurance.Responsibilities will include the following:File management including meeting deadlines and managing documents;Reviewing evidence and preparing advices on indemnity, liability and quantum;Communicating with clients both in writing and verbally;Identifying issues, briefing experts and analysing opinion;Preparing court documents, including defences and affidavit evidence;Preparing for, managing online processes and appearing in Court.




This includes attending settlement conferences and mediations; andBriefing and liaising with counsel.Who We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have the following:Between 1-5 years' PQE with insurance work, ideally from a defendant law firmStrong advocacy skills with the ability to assess complex cases effectivelyAbility to work autonomously and in a team environmentExcellent communication skills with a strong client service focusAbility to work in a fast-paced setting with experience in managing conflicting prioritiesExcellent attention to detailThis is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career in a quality environment.What We OfferWe take a collaborative approach to your learning & development, giving you the personal attention and unique opportunities required to help you realise your full potential.
