Vestas are looking for an experienced site supervisor to provide a hands-on leadership approach to the execution of the nominated wind farm operation, providing mentoring for Safety, Quality and Cost.As the Site Supervisor, you will provide a safe working environment for all persons on site by abiding by and implementing Vestas safety standards.
You will ensure all service schedules are adhered to while continuing delivery of energy to the grid as per agreed KPI's with the client.The department is a small team setting based on site at Dulacca Wind Farm.
The technicians report to the site supervisor and are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the wind turbines in accordance with the contract.
Support is provided by an administrator, stock keeper and planner, with KPI's allocated by the Area Service Manager.ResponsibilitiesMaintain site safety to required Vestas standards and drive a safe working culture among the teamAchieve wind farm performance standards while maintaining turbine scheduled service timeframesProvide clear direction to service personnelMaintain a good working relationship with the customer and key stakeholdersProvide mentoring and transfer of knowledge to the teamMaintain Safety KPIs within nominated targetsEnsure Service and Maintenance activities undertaken by Technicians are completed in accordance with Vestas HSE policies and proceduresConduct toolbox and daily work pre-start team briefings.




Ensure meeting notes are documented and attendance sheets filled out for reviewPrepare and maintain work rosters including on-call rosters and schedules in consultation with Site PlannerMonitor staff performance in consultation with Site Manager using Continuous Performance Development (CPD) processIdentify personnel development needs and arrange staff development in consultation with Site Manager using CPD processDevelop and build a positive and productive working relationship within on-site team and other relevant internal and external stakeholdersCommunicate and update site activities with customers' representative routinelyMonitor customer satisfaction, understand customer needs and suggest strategies to line managersCollaborate with the Site Planner to ensure all planned work is performed within the planned scheduleSupervise and perform Wind Turbine Generator , eBoP and civil BoP maintenance activities that are specified within the scope of the O&M; contractMaintain and improve turbine reliability by monitoring Turbine performance indicatorsSupervise maintenance,
