As a Cabinet Making Apprentice, you will learn the essential skills and techniques required to design, construct and install a variety of custom cabinets, furniture and joinery.
You will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced tradespeople, as well as the opportunity to attend vocational education classes to gain a formal qualification.What you'll be doingInterpreting design specifications and technical drawings to produce custom cabinet and joinery itemsUsing hand and power tools to cut, shape, assemble and finish wood and other materialsInstalling cabinets, shelving and other joinery in residential and commercial settingsMaintaining a safe and organised work environmentAttending off-the-job training to develop theoretical and practical skillsAssisting experienced tradespeople and learning from their expertiseWhat we're looking forStrong interest and aptitude for working with your hands and creating tangible productsGood practical skills,
