Job Title: Workplace SMELocation: Sydney and NewCastleEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Endpoint Management Systems Engineer (SCCM and Intune SME) to design, deploy, configure, maintain, and support the organization's endpoint management infrastructure.
This role involves leveraging tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune to ensure secure, productive, and compliant operation of all desktop and mobile devices across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities1.
Tool AdministrationAdminister and maintain endpoint management solutions, primarily SCCM and Intune.Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of endpoint management platforms.2.
Software Deployment & PackagingPackage, test, and deploy software applications and updates across the organization.Ensure compatibility, reliability, and compliance with licensing and security policies.3.
Patch ManagementSchedule and monitor timely deployment of OS and third-party patches.Maintain compliance and security posture across all endpoints.4.
Operating System Deployment (OSD) & ImagingDevelop and maintain standardized desktop images and task sequences using SCCM (and MDT/WDS if required).
Perform OS deployments for Windows devices across enterprise environments.5.




Incident & Problem ResolutionProvide Level 2/3 technical support for endpoint-related incidents and service requests.Troubleshoot complex issues within agreed SLAs.6.
Monitoring & ReportingMonitor system health, performance, and compliance status.Generate reports on deployment success, patching status, and asset inventory.7.
Scripting & AutomationUtilize PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate routine tasks.Improve operational efficiency via automation of deployments and configurations.8.
Documentation & CollaborationMaintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and SOPs.Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (security, networking, service desk).9.
Security & ComplianceEnsure endpoint configurations adhere to internal IT policies and regulatory standards.Integrate antivirus and baseline security configurations across managed devices.Required SkillsStrong expertise in Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft Intune.Experience with OS deployment, patch management, and software packaging.Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security best practices.Familiarity with additional endpoint management tools (Nanoheal, IBM BigFix, ManageEngine, Zenworks) is a plus.
