With recent growth in their business, they are seeking a full-time Junior Finance Manager to join their professional team.The Position...The Junior Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager in all day-to-day tasks while learning the internal financial and business processes.
You will show financial leadership, show initiative, innovation and bring a business savvy approach to the financial operations of the organisation.The position will responsible for supporting the Finance Manager with finance functions of the business, including: Performing daily reconciliationsProviding audit supportAnnual sales budgeting & forecastingCompleting BAS reconciliations & all other required related tax obligationsManagement of debtors & insurance renewalsInventory management & cost controlManagement of the GBS (Growth by Sharing Bonus)
programArranging debt/equity financingProviding strategic and operational supportManagement of payroll & staff costsManagement of the capital budgeting process (including constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis)Compliance and governance management – ensuring all financial legal obligations are met by the companyExperience in all the functions listed above is not essential, however, having a strong & well-rounded skillset will be an advantage.The Ideal Candidate...The ideal candidate will have the following:Proven experience in Financial Management or equivalent, with a good understanding of financial requirements & leadershipTertiary qualification in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experienceSound understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patternsProficient use and experience in financial softwareStrong interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsStrong financial reporting and tax experienceSound understanding of financial governance practicesAble to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are followedA solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principlesWorking knowledge of statutory legislation and regulationsStrong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skillsEfficient, reliable, has a robust work ethic, and displays honesty and integrityThe Benefits...The company will offer the successful candidate an attractive salary plus superannuation, along with the following:Uncapped company-wide bonus program where all staff receive a percentage of the profit upliftProfessional development opportunities, along with ongoing training and supportCareer progression within the organisationA positive and rewarding work environmentThe opportunity to work and learn with a talented teamLong term job stability
