About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our management team at La Piazza.
Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving service excellence, leading from the floor, and supporting the overall performance of the venue.

Key responsibilities:
Lead, coach and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service every shift
Run the floor in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
Oversee daily operations, ensuring service, presentation and compliance standards are met
Manage the guest experience from bookings through to service delivery
Support rostering, labour management and operational efficiency
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar teams
Drive team performance and commercial outcomes
Maintain a strong focus on safety,



RSA/RCG compliance and WHS

About You
2–3 years’ experience in a similar Assistant Manager / Supervisor role
Proven ability to lead teams in a high-volume restaurant environment
Hands-on, floor-focused leadership style
Strong food & beverage knowledge, including bar operations
Experience training and developing team members
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak periods
Current RSA & RCG (or willingness to obtain)
