This could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. We're not looking for another Club Manager. We're not looking for someone who simply wants to clock on, answer emails, organise a few competitions and collect a pay cheque. We're looking for an entrepreneurial operator who has spent years thinking..."If I ever had my own sports club, I'd do it differently."This is your chance. The OpportunityThree years ago, we took over one of Sydney's most unique sporting and community facilities and transformed its operations. Now we're ready for the next chapter. We're looking for the right person (or couple) to take ownership of the day-to-day operation and growth of our multi-sport facility and help to continue to build it into one of the Northern Beaches' most active sporting communities. You'll have the freedom to lead. The authority to make decisions. The opportunity to grow participation. The ability to build your own team. And you'll share directly in the success you create. No capital investment. No buying a business. No franchise fees.No taking on massive debt.Just the opportunity to build something exceptional—with the infrastructure already in place.AND we pay all staff at or above Award Rates, always on time. What Makes This Different?

You'll have genuine autonomy, but with that comes accountability.
We expect decisions to be commercially sound, customer-focused and aligned with our shared vision of building an outstanding community venue. You'll also never be left to figure everything out alone.
While you'll have autonomy over hospitality, you'll also have owners who genuinely want to see you succeed and who have invested heavily in systems, marketing, technology and long-term growth. We'll continue investing in the facility, systems, technology, marketing and long-term growth while you focus on creating an outstanding sporting experience. What Success Looks LikeSuccess isn't measured by hours worked. It's measured by results.Imagine walking into the club on a Wednesday afternoon.Every court is buzzing with activity.Kids are flowing from after-school programs into coaching.Parents are staying for coffee, dinner or a workout while their children play.Holiday camps have waiting lists.Corporate events are booking months in advance.Members greet each other by name.Coaches love working here.New members are joining because existing members can't stop recommending the club.Every area of the facility is alive with activity. As participation grows, your rewards grow. This is a fully paid role with a profit-sharing incentive where your total income is directly linked to the value you create.High-performing operators can realistically earn $100,000-$150,000 annually, with significantly greater upside as the business continues to grow and the right team is built to support expanded hours and service offerings.Who We're Looking ForYou need to have 5-10 years' experience building, operating or growing community-based sporting, recreation or fitness businesses. You may have worked in:Multi-sport centresRacquet clubsLeisure centresFitness clubsRecreation centresSporting associationsCommunity clubsCoaching businessesChildren's activity businessesSchool sportHoliday program providersWe're looking for someone who:Leads from the frontLoves being on the floor rather than behind a deskBuilds genuine relationships with membersEnjoys mentoring staff and coachesThinks commerciallySees opportunities everywhereTakes ownershipMakes things happenYou don't need to know every sport. But you do need to know how to build a thriving sporting community. Most importantly...You think like an owner. Why The Northern Beaches?
Few places offer the lifestyle enjoyed on Sydney's Northern Beaches. With its affluent communities, strong local economy, active sporting culture and year-round outdoor lifestyle, it's an outstanding location to build a hospitality business that is already an essential part of the local community. If you've always wanted to combine lifestyle with business ownership, this is a rare prospect.A Word From The OwnersWe believe success iss about creating a place where families linger after sport, friends catch up, kids are welcome and everyone feels welcome. If you're motivated by building that kind of community, you'll fit right in.We live onsite and have spent the past three years transforming this sports-centric facility with squash as the primary focus. We've built the facility, the systems and the customer base, but with more growth and activities beyond squash, we need someone with the skills and desire to make this a special place. That's why we're looking for someone whose passion and expertise in sports club management. This needs to be a long-term partnership—not just another management role.Aaron Frankcomb, former World #38 Professional Squash Player, will remain as the club's squash pro and High Performance Coach with the East Coast Squash Academy that has more than a dozen locations across the Greater Sydney area.
We're looking for someone to lead all non-squash-related sports and activities. This Role Is NOT For EveryonePlease don't apply if you:Are looking for a standard wage-based management jobPrefer sitting behind a desk all dayNeed constant supervisionAvoid accountabilityDon't enjoy working evenings or weekendsAren't prepared to lead from the frontWant a comfortable administration role rather than building something exceptionalIf any or most of these apply to you, you'll hate this role and won't last. But You'll Love It If...You've spent years saying..."One day I'll run my own sports club."You have ideas you've never been allowed to implement. You know you could build something better. You want genuine autonomy. You want your effort rewarded. You want to create a sporting community that changes people's lives. And you're ready to back yourself.Ready To Build Something Exceptional?

We know this is a huge decision for you, as it is for us.We're not looking to hand over the keys and disappear.
We'll continue investing in the venue, providing marketing, business mentoring and backing your excellent ideas. You'll lead hospitality.
We'll support the bigger picture.Together, we'll build something we're all proud of.We have a multi-step hiring process that should not take you more than an hour in total to complete.Start by submitting your CV and cover letter and if you meet the basic criteria, we'll reach out to you with the next steps. This could be exactly what you've been dreaming about...If you're ready to take your next big step.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
