This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging developments while building your career within a collaborative consultancy recognised for delivering industry-leading projects.Role OverviewThis role is suited to an Estimator with construction or consultancy experience who is looking to further develop their career on major projects.You'll work closely with project teams to prepare accurate estimates from early feasibility through to detailed cost planning, providing commercial insight that supports informed project decisions.
Working alongside experienced industry professionals, you'll gain exposure to technically complex projects while continuing to develop your estimating expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare project estimates and cost plans across all project stagesSupport the development of project estimating strategies and methodologiesPrepare Project Basis of Estimate documentation and Estimate Risk AnalysisProvide cost contingency recommendations and commercial adviceMaintain and develop current market rates for estimating purposesUndertake project benchmarking and peer reviews to ensure estimate accuracyIdentify commercial risks and support value engineering initiativesBuild strong relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholdersSkills & ExperienceDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related disciplineEstimating experience within a construction or consultancy environmentExperience preparing estimates across multiple project stagesExperience using CostX, InEight, Sage Timberline or similar estimating software is highly regardedStrong analytical and commercial problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRICS, CEP or CPE accreditation, or working towards chartership, is highly regardedWhy This Role Stands OutWork on major data centre and mission-critical projects with global technology clientsJoin a globally recognised consultancy with genuine career progression and international opportunitiesCollaborate with experienced industry leaders on technically complex projectsContinue developing your estimating capability while taking ownership of key project deliverablesFlexible working arrangements within a cooperative, people-first cultureStrong pipeline of landmark projects offering long-term career stabilityThis is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to work on technically challenging projects while building a long-term career with a leading international consultancy.
