you will be trained to become highly proficient in core aspects of craft manufacturing and letterpress printmaking.Technical areas of development include paper stocks, inks, foils, plates, box-making, craft process, and heritage and modern printing press equipment.Drawing on your design education and problem-solving skills, you will work towards learning to letterpress print with Heidelberg platen printing presses.Training through EmploymentYou must be available 4 to 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.You may be employed as a permanent employee under the Graphic Arts, Printing and Publishing Award with a three month probationary period.While we value diverse experiences, the following are highly regarded:A tertiary degree in Design or closely related field.A portfolio of self-initiated paper craft or analog design projects.Pay: $53,****** – $60,****** per year
