Our comprehensive product range services the industrial, construction, mining, food and household & personal care markets.We're currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for site-based work for the Wetherill Park Facility.This is a hands‐on role supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of critical plant equipment, If you're the right fit, this opportunity will become permanent.Position Brief Below:MONDAY TO FRIDAY WORKWETHERILL PARK LOCATIONOCCASIONAL OVERTIME WHERE REQUIRED7am – 3pm$***** per hour + overtime rates if requiredTemp to Permanent OpportunityKey Responsibilities:Perform fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on rotating equipment including pumps, gearboxes, motors, agitators, and blowersInterpret mechanical drawings and manuals to carry out accurate maintenanceUse of CMMS (preferably MEX) to manage maintenance tasks and recordsEnsure all work is carried out safely, particularly around chemicals, confined spaces, and moving machineryTrade qualification:



Mechanical engineering or maintenance fitter qualification together with relevant experienceQualified Mechanical Fitter or similar trade backgroundStrong hands‐on experience with rotating equipment maintenanceExposure to preventative and predictive maintenance regimesSound knowledge of safe work practices in industrial environmentsCompetent using CMMS systems for tracking and reporting maintenance activitiesBackground in chemical processing or high‐risk industrial environmentsExposure to Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and CI methodologiesBasic welding skills (TIG, MIG, stick)Experience with shutdown/turnaround maintenance workFamiliarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and plant isolation proceduresEssential Skills & Experience:Trade qualification: Mechanical engineering or maintenance fitter qualification together with relevant experienceQualified Mechanical Fitter or similar trade backgroundStrong hands‐on experience with rotating equipment maintenanceExposure to preventative and predictive maintenance regimesSound knowledge of safe work practices in industrial environmentsCompetent using CMMS systems for tracking and reporting maintenance activitiesDesirable:Background in chemical processing or high‐risk industrial environmentsExposure to Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and CI methodologiesForklift LicenceBasic welding skills (TIG, MIG, stick)Experience with shutdown/turnaround maintenance workFamiliarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and plant isolation proceduresAbout You:You're a self‐motivated, safety‐conscious maintenance qualified who thrives in a busy industrial setting.
