YUNTA Truckstop is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Hospitality Worker to join our team. This role suits someone with plenty of energy who enjoys looking after people in a busy hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Give friendly, professional service to travellers, truck drivers and local customers
Take orders, process payments and use point-of-sale systems accurately
Make and serve hot and cold drinks, snacks and meals without delay
Deliver food and drinks to customers and make sure they have a valuable experience
Keep dining, café and service areas clean and well presented
Explicit and reset tables, collect used crockery, cutlery and glassware, and help with general housekeeping
Restock shelves, set up displays and keep an eye on stock levels in the café and retail areas
Help customers with questions, local information and general travel enquiries
Manage bookings, reservations and service requests when needed
Follow workplace health and safety, food safety and responsible service requirements
Back up your teammates during peak periods and help keep the day running smoothly
Deal with customer concerns professionally and keep the place welcoming
Help with opening and closing,



cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation
Keep watch over customer areas for safety, cleanliness and compliance with company policies

Experience & Qualifications:
Certificate II or III in Hospitality (or related field)
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, café, restaurant or retail is preferred
Strong communication and people skills
Able to keep up in a rapid-paced environment
Confident with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
Good attention to detail and a genuine focus on customer satisfaction
Able to work on your own and as part of a team
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays as required

What we offer

Salary of $80,000 to $82,000 plus superannuation, depending on your skills and experience
