NATIONAL TECHNICAL ENGINEER

The Company

SecuSafe Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned business established in 2007, and one of the largest importers and distributors of security and solution-based products.

We're looking for a National Technical Engineer to join our team at SecuSafe HQ in Norwest, NSW. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and sales, providing pre- and post-sales engineering support across our security product range.

Key Duties
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide post-sales technical support via phone, email, remotely and on occasional site visits to customers across Australia
Provide technical pre-sales support, including product specification, system design and solution scoping for customers and integrators
Deliver product demonstrations and technical training to clients, resellers and internal teams
Work closely with sales teams, product team and branches across Australia to translate customer requirements into technical solutions




Liaise with manufacturers and vendors to stay current on new products, firmware and integrations, and also assist customer for any technical support issues
Assist in preparing technical documentation, quotes and responses

Essential Skills & Requirements
Full time right to work in Australia
2+ years' experience in CCTV, security systems or a related technical field
Sound understanding of IP networking, video management systems, intercom and access control principles
Solid communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
Tertiary qualification in engineering, IT or a related technical field preferred
Self-motivated, well organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits, support and training
