Real Health Medical Centre is looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our professional team.
Our practice provides a friendly, positive and respectful work environment whilst offering patients of all ages a variety of services to help with the management of their health.
The suitable candidate will need to have a professional, mature outlook with exceptional communication and computer skills.
Your role will be to provide support to patients and doctors.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting patients with professionalism and care.
Managing appointment bookings and patient records efficiently.
Processing payments and handling Medicare billing and workers' compensation claims.
Using a HICAPS machine for processing payments.
Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries.
Secure scanning, faxing, emailing medical of records and results
Ensuring patient confidentiality and maintaining a welcoming environment in the reception area.




Keep practice clean and tidy at all times.
Requirements
A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Medical Receptionist
Familiarity with Best Practice software
Minimum 6 months hands-on experience using Best Practice software is required.
Medicare billings and workers' compensation processes.
Proficiency in using HICAPS machine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and service.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
