We are looking for a sales-driven Spare Parts Interpreter who thrives on customer interaction and knows how to turn a parts enquiry into a sales opportunity.You will be the frontline face of HELI Oceania — advising customers, solving problems, and building relationships that keep their fleets running and their businesses moving.
If you have the technical knowledge to identify the right part and the commercial instinct to upsell, cross-sell, and close the deal, you'll fit right in.
As a SpareParts Interpreter, your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:Act as the primary point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email parts enquiriesInterpret customer requirements, identify the correct parts, and provide expert technical adviceProactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities on every interactionPrepare accurate and competitive quotes for customersBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal and external customersDrive individual and team parts sales performance against targetsKey Requirements:Minimum 2+ years of previous SpareParts Interpreting experience (highly regarded)Experience in the forklift or heavy equipment industry (advantageous)Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical parts requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Base plan software (preferred, but not essential)Forklift Licence (preferred, not essential)Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage time effectivelyAbility to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA genuine sales mindset – you enjoy engaging with customers and driving resultsFull working rights in AustraliaWhatYou'll Get in ReturnA national brand with global backing — stability and growthA supportive, down-to-earth team cultureUniform, tools, and all necessary equipment providedAbout CompanyHELI is a global top-tier manufacturer of material handling equipment, with a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.HELI Oceania is our dedicated Australian and New Zealand operation — and we're growing rapid.
